  1. Call to Order
  2. Public Comment 
    Open time for public expression, up to three minutes per speaker, on items not on the Board's agenda. (While members of the public are welcome to address the Board, under the Brown Act, Board members may not deliberate or take action on items not on the agenda, and generally may only listen.)
  3. Approve Minutes for Regular Meeting held on September 28, 2023  (Action Item)
    Recommendation: Approve

  4. Update on Current CSA 18 and Park Department Activities (Information Item)
    Superintendent Jim Chayka will update advisory board members on the status of current fiscal year projects, maintenance activities, and other department information of interest to board members. Supervising Ranger Blain Thompson will give an operations update for CSA 18 facilities, including Castro Park pathway improvements.
  5. CSA 18 Budget Update (Action Item)
    Staff will present updated budget information for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 and draft budget for Fiscal Year 2023-2024. Advisory Board members will review and may recommend adjustments to project budgets, if necessary.
    Recommendation:  Approve any budget adjustments per discussion.

  6. Election of Officers for 2024-2025 (Action Item)
    Advisory Committee members will elect a Vice-Chair and Secretary for 2024-2025 to replace two chair positions that were elected in 2023, and resigned in fall 2024. Chair was elected for two years in fall of 2023. New officers will be selected for 2-year terms in fall of 2025. Current slate: Gina Hagan for Chair, Tim Baker for Vice Chair, Linda Levey for Secretary. This slate may be renewed for an additional year.
    Recommendation:  elect a Vice-Chair and Secretary for 2024.
  7. Advisory Board Member Comments (Information Item) 
    Advisory Board members may speak about items of interest to the council that do not appear on the agenda. No discussion or action can take place on items mentioned during this time.
