Overview
In 2022, Marin voters approved re-implementation of a quarter cent sales tax to support county parks and open space, farmland preservation, parks and recreation in cities and towns, and land acquisition. The Measure A Community Oversight Committee reviews annual expenditures of Measure A funds, oversees an annual audit, and approves an annual report describing how funds were spent. Regular Meetings
The next Measure A Community Oversight Committee meeting takes place February 9, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. This meeting will be conducted in a hybrid format, which includes in-person and virtual participation options for members of the community.
In-Person:
- Staff and committee members will meet in-person at Marin Civic Center, Planning Chambers, Room 328.
- Members of the public are invited to attend the meeting in-person.
- in-person attendees are strongly recommended to wear a mask and maintain social distance per the Public Health Officer. The maximum capacity of the chambers may be reduced by half if required by a local health order.

Public Comments on Agenda Items:
- Before the meeting, email comments to ParksComments@marincounty.org no later than 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. Include the agenda item, your name,
and address. Attachments to emails are permitted.
- Members of the public attending.the meeting at the Civic Center will have the opportunity to make comments in person. The moderator will call for public comment for each agenda item.
- Virtual attendees may also make public comments during the meeting, Join the Zoom meeting by device or telephone using the information above. On a digital device click the Zoom raise hand icon. On a phone press *9 to raise your hand; The moderator will tell you when it is your turn to speak.
- All comments are placed in the public record.
Regular meetings are usually held on the second Thursday of February and November. Additional meetings may be scheduled as needed.
