Paradise Beach Park

• On a clear day, enjoy panoramic views from Marin across the water to the East Bay.

• No fishing license is required when fishing from the pier. Plus there's a station to clean your catch. When fishing from the shore, you will need a valid fishing license.
• Launch a kayak or canoe.

• No dogs or other companion animals allowed at Paradise, except service animals.
• Watch tides; currents can be strong.

Hike, bike, or kayak in to Paradise Beach Park for free any time the park is open.

If you have a Marin County library card, you can check out a free library park pass from any Marin County Free Library.

Groups of 20 or more participants, whether formally organized or not, must make an advance reservation. From October 16, 2019 to April 30, 2020 park group reservation fees are half off.

Bus Entry and Parking

• Space is limited at this location. Only school-sized buses up to forty feet are allowed.

• A valid parking permit must be displayed on the dashboard of parked vehicles at all times. Purchase a parking permit at the park pay station.
• Dogs and other domestic animals are not allowed, with the exception of dogs trained and used as service animals, as defined by the American with Disabilities Act.
• Keep the park clean and litter-free. Use garbage cans provided, and carry out all your belongings.
• Keep the park peaceful. Loud noise and amplified music are not allowed.
• No smoking, campstoves, and campfires. Fires are only allowed within designated BBQ pits.
• No camping or overnight stays.
• Groups of more than 20 people must make an advance reservation. Learn more about group reservations.
• Some park locations may require permits for commercial use, including tours, classes, camps, film, or photography. Learn about permit applications.
• Fishing is allowed subject to regulations of California Fish and Game, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, and Marin County Parks. Valid fishing license is required when fishing from the shore. No live bait.
• Do not follow, approach, or feed wildlife.
